She was born in Brazil on April 11, 1981. Her parents were petrol station owners. She has Italian and Polish blood in her.

When Alessandra was eight years old, she decided to become a model. She had large ears when she was young and had cosmetic surgery to get it fixed. The surgery had complications and she went through trauma for while. She swore not to go through surgery ever again.

Alessandra is very free spirited girl. She loves to surf, watch bands perform, loves to drink, and has an addiction for chocolates. She admits to eating a lot of them everyday. Her father was diagnosed with this sickness in the late nineties and she helps raise awareness for the disease through public programs. She is even trying to raise funds to find cures for the disease as well.
