Karolina Kurkova is a lingerie model for Victoria’s Secret. She was born on February 28, 1984 in Decin, Czech Republic. She stands five feet and eleven inches tall and weighs one hundred and thirty pounds. Her father is Josef Kurka, a Czech basketball player and her mother is Slovak. She definitely inherited her father’s height and figure. Before gracing the lingerie catalogues of Victoria’s Secret, Karolina started her modelling in Europe.

Karolina was fifteen when she had her first modelling contract. She did her first jobs in Prague. After her jobs in Prague, she was able to do some modelling in Milan as well. In 1999, Karolina was able to get a modelling job with Vogue Magazine in New York. She was only fifteen years old then. She graced the cover of Vogue magazine and became the model of the year in 2002. Karolina also models for Tommy Hilfiger and for Yves Saint Laurent.

Karolina loves modelling because she gets to meet a lot of new people, learn about a lot of new cultures, go to different places, and be open to several opportunities. Even with so much success in modelling, Karolina does not forget about the world around her. She is very active in humanitarian work. She participates in the Beautiful Life Fund, the Free Arts organization, the Global Youth Action Network, and the non-profit Women Together organization.

She has been on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and is about to make her film debut with fellow actors and actresses Frankie Muniz, Harvey Keitel, and Amber Valletta in My Sexiest Year.
